1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technology, such as local storage, does the same job. Some are needed for a site to work. Others, like analytics, are optional, and the law says we must ask you first.

2. The short version

  • We use one strictly necessary item to remember your cookie choice.
  • We use Microsoft Clarity analytics only if you click Accept.
  • If you click Decline, or ignore the banner, Clarity doesn't load and no analytics cookies are set.
  • We don't use advertising cookies.

3. Strictly necessary

These are needed for the site to work, so they don't need your consent.

fm_cookie_consentLocal storage (not a cookie)This site (first-party)Remembers whether you clicked Accept or Decline, so we don't ask on every page and only load analytics if you said yes6 months, then we ask again

Our host, Cloudflare, doesn't set cookies on this site at present. If we ever switch on a Cloudflare security feature that needs one (such as __cf_bm, used to tell people from bots), it will be strictly necessary and we'll list it here.

4. Analytics (only with your consent)

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site, such as where they click and scroll and which pages help, so we can improve it. Clarity gives your browser a random ID. It doesn't tell us your name.

Clarity only loads after you click Accept. If you later choose Decline, Clarity stops and Microsoft says it deletes its first-party Clarity cookies.

Third-party cookies are set by Microsoft on its own domains, not by us. Microsoft is responsible for how it uses them under its own privacy statement.

5. Advertising cookies

We don't use any. We've set Clarity so it doesn't share data with Microsoft's advertising services.

6. Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time:

  • Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner, then choose Accept or Decline.
  • Or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. You'll see the banner again on your next visit.

Your browser's help pages explain how to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary storage means we can't remember your choice, so you'll see the banner each time.

7. Links to other sites

Our pages link to Instagram (@francescamfit) and, later, to the Mindset Checker at mindset.francescamilly.fit. Instagram sets its own cookies under Meta's policies once you're on its site. The Mindset Checker asks for your cookie choice separately.

8. More information

For how we use personal data generally, and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
